Copying cell contents when creating new rows

Hello!

I have noticed a strange effect in tables: When creating a new row in sorted state, the content of that cell whose column was sorted is copied. I can’t imagine that this is intentional. Or?

Hi, this is an intentional behavior in sorted and grouped views.

Imagine, if your table has many rows and sorted ascending by a column, when you create a new row and that column is empty, it will jump to the start of the table. This would be very confusing. So, to fix that row for your editing, the value of the last row is copied into it. You can just change its value when you have finished editing that row.
