The release of SeaTable 2.0 is still a little out, but we don’t want to sit on all the great new features already completed till then. So:
Today, we have uploaded some of SeaTable 2.0’s new features and improvements to our SeaTable Cloud .

This are just some of the new features that we have deployed in our SeaTable cloud:
- Folders in the base library : Use folders to organize your libraries
- Default value option : Define default cell values for text, number and single select columns
- More options in the button column : Automate more actions with the click of a buttion
- New column type link formula : Run queries over linked columns faster and easier than ever before
- Improved forms : Add a custom logo to your forms and use linked columns for even more versatility
- Manual snapshots : Save your data in a snapshot any time you like
What else will SeaTable 2.0 have in store? Ok ok, here’s a little more info: We are working on two new column types, we’ll add as many new plugins, and SeaTable’s clustering capabilities will be taken to the next level. Sounds about right for a major release!
Soon, all the new features will be also available for your own SeaTable server. The release is scheduled for late May 2021.
