App containing feedback form showing results after submission

SeaTable Cloud Enterprise

For a group of participants in a workshop, I would like to create an app that 1) contains a feedback form and 2) a results page containing all of the results of all of the participants who have filled out the form. I know how to do that using the app feature but I would really like the people filling out the form (who are not SeaTable users) to only see the results table after they have submitted the form. That is, the results page should be invisible or unclickable in the menu until they have submitted the form with their results.
A workaround could probably be just to use a normal form and not an app and set a redirect to a public view of the table but it would be really cool to have the results there in the app.

I see no way to implement your idea in an app, especially with anonymous users.

May this helps you: The form page in SeaTable 5.2 will support redirection after submission. You could redirect users to a second app. (SeaTable 5.2 will be available before the end of the year.)

I realize that this is not exactly what you want, but the suggested approach allows you to benefit from the “cleanliness” of SeaTable’s apps.

Hi Donal !
I agree with Ralph, I can’t imagine any proper solution for your case. As you say, you could use a normal form that redirects to a public view (or even an app containing a view of the table) but it won’t be as nicely tied up as with a single app. Another solution (I did this once) would be to recreate a full app by yourself, but it requires both coding skills and hosting capacity…

That is why for such cases (I’m advertising a bit ), I’ve filed a feature request on ideas.seatable.io for a code element (html/JS/CSS) in the custom pages of universal apps, because I’m sure it could be done with just a tiny bit of coding. So feel free to upvote it!

Bests,
Benjamin
