Automation settings are missing in version 5 (DE, v.5, Self Hosted)

After upgrading to version 5 automation settings in databases are missing. For example, in version 4.x, it was possible to change the value of a string according to some limited conditions. You can’t do it now.

Is this a error or not? I could not find information that this feature is no longer available.

Are there any options for how to replace it for the DE version?

Automations should not be part of SeaTable Developer Edition as you can see in this comparision table:

This feature was accidentally added to DE for personal bases (not for group bases) for a long time. As many people already use this feature, we will add the feature back to DE in version 5.1.

It is a pity that this information is not indicated in the update description.

Despite the fact that the automation rules for the DE version were already very limited, we had about 20 of them. Of these, only 2 concerned a minor line change, and the rest were sending emails, but these rules were important enough for us. Would you consider returning at least sending an email notification by condition? his function is more related to notification than automation, any calendar has this functionality.

You can update to SeaTable Enterprise at any time.

We would love to do this at the first opportunity, but we are limited by local law.
