It would be nice to have the opportunity to add comments/notes to tables and columns.
Basically I am searching for a possibility to add a description / notes to describe the usage of the column/table.
If there is already a way to do this please let me know, thank you!

you can add a description to a base. Just click on the 
next to the base name.
The same does not exist for tables and columns yet.
I think it’s a good idea. We’ll add it to our feature request list.

Since version 2.8 it is also possible to add a short description to each column.
However if this description would be a rich text item like the one for the whole base this would be great.
And if you can finally display the column description in the detail view this would be perfect.
Why?
That way you can use Seatable as a test or checklist tool that has descriptions integrated, in combination with the page designer plugin you can create awesome test reports/tools.
