Is it possible to have a short word or number aliasing a Hyperlink, such as ‘Click Here’ would take you to a particular web page
Column type : Link ?
The only two Links that are an option for columns is Link Formula and Link to other records. Both seem to be internal actions. the URL type requires the entire URL, which in my case is very long. What I’m looking for is a short tag, with the Hyperlink that takes me to an external site. Similar to Excel.
You could make a long text field…there you can add a URL-Hyperlinks to any text you like.
Maybe I’m missing something.
The long text works, however in the column, it does not show the text, but the hyperlink works. If I double click the cell, it will show the Hyperlink and the text label.

What about a button column with action Open URL, using the URL stored in a URL type column ?

That works. Seems the button has only 1 label for the entire column. Now all I have to do is create a URL column with 980 different UPL’s and populate the db.
