We’re thrilled to announce a significant upgrade to our API client experience! Starting today, we are automatically generating the SeaTable PHP client using the powerful “OpenAPI Generator” from our meticulously crafted OpenAPI specification.

This enhancement brings a plethora of benefits to our valued users:

  • Less Manual Coding: With our automated PHP client generation, we’ll spend less time writing boilerplate code, and we’ll have more time focusing on what matters most.
  • Complete Coverage of All API Endpoints: Our new approach ensures that every API endpoint is fully covered, providing you with comprehensive access to all functionalities.
  • Faster Implementation of New API Endpoints: Enjoy accelerated implementation of new API endpoints. With automatic generation in place, we can swiftly roll out updates and additions, keeping you ahead of the curve.

Of course, with progress comes change, and we want to ensure transparency regarding any potential drawbacks. As part of this transition, please note that the former API client (version 0.2.0) is no longer compatible. We have replaced all functions to align with this new, more efficient methodology.

We are incredibly excited about this advancement and are confident it will elevate your experience with SeaTable to new heights. As always, your feedback is invaluable to us, so please don’t hesitate to share your thoughts or reach out with any questions.

And here’s an added bonus: did you know that the OpenAPI Generator supports over 50 programming languages? That means if you ever need a SeaTable client for, let’s say, Ruby, it’s just a few clicks away. Simply generate it on the fly!
