Multiple tables or bases viewable in one kind of dashboard

Your Setup:

  • SeaTable Self-hosted
  • SeaTable Version (only necessary for self-hosted): 5.2.0
You can find your SeaTable Server version at https://your-server-url/server-info

Describe the Problem/Error/Question:

Hello,

I am quite new to SeaTable and maybe I have overseen this function resp. there might be already a post regarding this topic. Sorry in advance.

I would like to arrange my tables from one base or tables from different bases to a kind of dashbard to immediately get an overview of key indicators. Is that somehow possible?

Just as simple example a (faked) dashboard with 2 tables from same base:

Thanks a lot in advance and best regards, Michael

You can add multiple tables on a custom page (see SeaTable 5.2: Advanced filters in the base and a new plugin)

At this point, a base can have 0 to n apps. Any app is connected to exactly one base though. You cannot integrate data from multiple bases in one app.

This will be changed in the future.

Hello Ralf

thanks for your fast response.
If I understand correctly a custom page can be represent multiple tables of one base and can be created using the “App Builder” functionality. Unfortunately I am not able to see the app builder in my environment.
Are there some settings or additional installations necessary?

Thanks in advance and best regards, Michael

For more on apps, please see the manual. There is also a page on the custom page type.

Apps are only available in the Enterprise Edition of SeaTable Server.

Thanks again, Ralf, that’s the missing part. I “only” have the community edition of SeaTable.

Do you know that you can use SeaTable Server Enterprise Edition free of charge with up to 3 users?

Yes, thanks a lot. I just saw it a couple of minutes ago and I created an account and was able to see app builder functionalities. Perfect.

Thanks again, also for providing such kind of great application for free. That’s really great!

Best regards, Michael
