Hello everyone! I have a large table (table 1) with a column “link to other records” from a neighboring table (table 2). The problem is that some records from table 1 are not displayed in table 2
I apologize for not answering your question in time. The problem is still relevant.
The link values were probably manually deleted by someone. I tried refreshing the page (Ctrl+F5), it doesn’t help. Recreating the link does not lead to anything either - I delete the link, then add it again, but the link record does not appear.
PS: I have a SeaTable version 5, Self-Hosted, Developer.
To describe the problem, I recorded a short video.
What’s in the video: I made 2 new tables in the database and made a connection between them. When you add a related record to the Test 1 table, the corresponding records appear in the Test 2 table.
The problem is that when I add related records to the “Deyat” table from the “Obj” table using the same algorithm, the records are not automatically added.
Is it possible to check these records and add the missing ones automatically?
Are you sure that you really look at the right link column in table Obj? I can see 92 / 15 hidden columns in these two tables and you might have created two link columns and just look at the wrong one…
Otherwise, please create an account for me or export the base and send it to support@seatable.io.
You have four link columns in base and only one Objects. This should not be possible. Normally, If you create a link column, it creates a new column on both tables. Therefore, you should have the same amount of link columns in both tables.
This is the reason why SeaTable does not show the correct links.
Solution
Delete these linked columns and re-create them. This will fix your base structure.
