We launch the new year with a new SeaTable release: We updated cloud.seatable.io to version 1.6. SeaTable 1.6 is loaded with great new features and improvements. These are the highlights from our perspective:
Two new column types: The duration column stores durations and supports the formats h:mm and h:mm:ss. The new column type will prove invaluable when you handle and organize time measurements in SeaTable. Needless to say what the email column is for. This new column type proves its worth in web forms where its built-in validation ensures that inputs are valid email addresses.
Improved formula wizard: The formula wizard has seen functional, design, and usability improvements. Four new functions, three of which are dedicated to the handling of dates, have been added. The wizard provides more helpful error messages when a formula is invalid and, most importantly, the wizard now comes in a non-modal design.
Asset management: You can now access SeaTable’s storage backend right from the web interface. You can browse the assets and remove individual files. This way, you can remove these assets permanently from a base.
For more details on these and the many other improvements packed into SeaTable 1.6, have a look at the Release Note.
