Today is a great day: We are happy to release SeaTable Version 5.2! Self-hosters, please proceed to download version 5.2 from the well-known Docker Hub repository. SeaTable Cloud users can lean back and enjoy the newest features and improvements. We updated the system this morning at 6 am CET.
The following highlights are available to all users:
Complex filters: Filter your data sets like never before
Powerful conditional formatting: Color rows and cells using values in other columns
Improved single record page type: Manage access to fields and build more user friendly pages
Improved form page type: Design workflows by redirecting users to other pages or websites
Improved individual page type: Present multiple tables on one page with the new element “basic table”
New whiteboard plugin: Collaborate on whiteboards in real-time
Additionally, enterprise users benefit from enhanced permission control on the calendar and timeline page.
You find the Release Notes for the new version in the SeaTable Blog. The complete list of changes is – as always – available in the Changelog.
Good update! New filtering is what we need! Setting the color parameters depending on the parameters of other columns, displaying the comment icon. Super!
Were comments ever available in the universal app builder on the kanban page? I updated to 5.2 yesterday, and my team swears that they had the ability to leave comments and view them inside the kanban board. But now when you click on a card, it doesn’t show the sidebar or comments feature.
So just wondering if this is a bug in the new update, or if my team is mistaken and the comments feature was never available on the kanban.
It’s the same on the cloud version. In the universal apps, there are no comments on kanban boards.
Great update! However, we’re still experiencing the Forms bug, where if a form field is autofilled (e.g with the browsers auto fill contact feature) the form cannot be submitted. Anyone else still having this issue after the update to 5.2?
Do it like thousands of other people who have used SeaTable to develop powerful processes and get their ideas and tasks done more efficiently.
