When a column type will be changed, for example from text to link to other records, afterwards when selecting a record it is not taken by the column field
In my example Application was a text field, no records created.
I have changed column type to link to other records, table application
When I select an application it is not set as value.
I had to remove the column and create from scratch

Thanks for taking the time to report the issue. In fact, this is a know bug and will be fixed in v2.4.
