Uploading images to columns via make.com

SeaTable Cloud Enterprise

I am trying to upload files (jpg, png or pdf) from a form on a website via make.com to a file column in SeaTable.

The file is delivered to make in the form of a link. I then use the “get a file” option to download the file to make and then use the Upload a File/Image to upload it to a file column in SeaTable.

See sample scenario in Make:

However, the result is an unknown file
Bildschirmfoto 2024-10-18 um 12.31.37

and opening the file results in the following message
Bildschirmfoto 2024-10-18 um 12.31.48

What am I doing wrong?

WHat is interesting is that if I run the Get the publically available url on the image in the column, it returns the correct image

Which make.com SeaTable app do you use? Please try this one instead of the official one: https://www.make.com/en/hq/app-invitation/9f540612d98414ee083db4b65733d93d

Also, please tell me the public URL of the file that I can try it by my own.

Hi Christoph

I got confused with the SeaTable modules and missed the “rework” module (I thought the correct newest version was called simply “SeaTable”). I used the rework upload version and it worked fine.

Tip to make.com users: When searching for the latest ST version, search for “rework” and not for “SeaTable”.
